Låtefossen – Iconic twin falls in "The Valley of Waterfalls"
Låtefossen is one of Norway’s most photographed waterfalls, known for its two parallel streams plunging down the mountainside before passing under the old stone bridge. Husedalen – Four waterfalls in one hike
For those seeking a more active experience, Husedalen is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Hardanger. Here, you can follow the trail from Kinsarvik up towards the Hardangervidda plateau, passing four impressive waterfalls in succession. The hike to the first fall is on a gravel road and is child-friendly, while the terrain becomes more demanding further up. The scenery is magnificent all the way. Voted one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls by CNN. Langfossen plunges 600 meters straight down the mountainside into the Åkrafjord. You can admire the falls from the road or hike to the top viewpoint. Around 2 hours from Vassel gård.
